ACEVIVI is a brand that i’ve only got to know a couple of weeks ago, they sell a wide range of beauty and health products online. As i straighten my hair a lot and because in all my blog photos i have straight hair, the brand contacted me to talk about their hair straighteners and challenged me to try their flat ceramic iron. You guys know that sometimes we (bloggers) get a few things on the post to test and give our honest opinion. Now honestly, i think this is the coolest way to choose what is worth to buy or not. When i need a new mascara or even a new dress i turn to the internet and search over my favourite blogs for good product reviews. The flat straightener featured in this post was kindly given to me by the brand, hence why all this pep talk, for those you read my blog often ya’ll know that i only post whatever i trully feel about the product and i am not biased by the fact that it was given to me.
The hair straightener gets hot and ready to use in less than a minute, which to me works wonders as i am most impatient person ever. My hair is wavy and quite frizzy so i find it hard to get a hair straightener that does the job in record time so i can run out the door in the morning, this one took me about 10 minutes to have my hair completly silky straight which to me is amazing.
I usualy use a wider flat iron straightener from Rowenta which does an amazing as the wands grab a good amount of hair at one go, as you can see the wands on this straightener are thinner which made me quite apprehensive about the product. I actually like the fact that the heat pads are smaller because i can get closer to the scalp without burning myself as they are tucked in.
Another plus with the small heat pads is that you can actually create other hair styles, rather than only straightening your hair you can create a beach wavy hair look or even a cute curly hair. Please let me know if you’d like a tutorial of this in the comments bellow, i would be more than happy to do it.
The price is flippin amazing, (you can check it for yourselfs here) it costs$20.99 (£14.99) which for a good quality straightner with an adjustable temperature from 176F to 446F (80C – 230C) is crazy.
The only think i dislike is the fact that the ON/OFF and Heat controllers are inside, which makes me quite nervous when i am switching it OFF. So if i could change anything in the iron it would be moving the controllers to the outside of the straightner, ACEVIVI i hope you listen to this one.
Overall the product is really good you guys, the price is amazing for the quality of the straightener. It is 90% similar to other drugstore and high end hair acessories out there and the price is not even comparable, so you guys if you love a good old bargain this is a good option for you.
