I’ve had quite a few questions recently asking about my hair routine how I keep it this long and healthy as i’ve got highlights all over my hair. May your wishes come true, here’s my top tips to mantain a healthy hair and my daily routine.
As wired as it sounds i only use one brand when it comes to shampoos and conditioners as they are the ones that so far managed to keep my hair smooth like i want. My favourite shampoo is Schwarzkopf Professional Moisture Kick, which really helps protect my hair and maintain the colour, as per the condiciner i wear Schwarzkopf Professional Bonacure Miracle that helps to smooth my hair.
I tend to brush my hair after conditioning with a large comb which I find it makes it easier for me when i brush it after washing because my hair not that tangled then.
So every now and again when i have some extra time and feel like giving my hair a pamper, i get a nice hair mask on for about 30 minutes to let it soak in. Sometimes i even go to sleep with my hair mask on and in the morning i rinse it, believe me when i say that my hair loves it!
I’ve only started colouring my hair a few years ago, since then my hair often feels very dry and frizzy at the ends, so a mask is must on my list of things to do once a week. I wear Essensity intense, once again by Schwarzkopf.
I’ve got really curly hair so i tend to straighten it quite often, althought if i decide to have a real hair day i rarely ever use hair dryers.
As i said before i normally start brushing my hair in the shower, but once i finish i apply spray consitioner repair rescue by Schwarzkopf help with my tangly hair, after that i just spray some juicy stuff from L’oreal Paris to protect my hair from the heat of the straightner and let my hair dry on hair. After i straighten my hair i apply some L’oreal Elvive smooth silk intense serum on the ends and it’s all sorted.
Also before i go to sleep i just do a quick plait and that way my hair does not get on my face when i sleep neither it get ver tangled and difficult to brush in the morning.
Well as founting as it might sounds it is really really important that you do this, ideally you want to be getting it trimmed every 6 to 8 weeks. I know it sounds scary and i’m just like you, even though know that the hairstylist will just trim my hair i always get really scared that i will never be able to grow it again.
I do hope this post has helped you in some way and that all your questions were answered, if not do leave me some feedback and more questions in the comment section and i will answer them in the bellow.
