How’s life? Mine has been pretty busy with all them Uni stuff, anyways.. Looking forward for next moth as i’ll be on holidays enjoying the sun back in Portugal. Are you going somewhere nice this summer?
Today i thought i’d show you what i’ve been buying this month and adding a very brief review as well. None of the items were sponsored, neither i’m bragging in any way.
Rimmel London – Brow this way
This is a Brow gel that literally looks like a mini mascara, there are four shades of this product going from transparent to dark brown. The idea of the brow gel is to style and secure the hairs of your brows, it gives colour and filling to your brows so they look fuller and on fleek.
Brow styling is quite difficult specially if you are just starting and so to be completely honest with you, this might not be that helpful if you are just starting as you will find it difficult to apply it nicely without getting all dirty around the brow area. But if do want to try i would advise you to scrape the bristles in the top of the tube and allow the gel to set into your brows before you continue doing your makeup. It costs £3.99, which is bargain for a brow gel.
ZARA – Striped Summer Dress
I’m a big fan of Zara clothes but often i find that they are quite expensive compared to other highstreet stores. Wishlist having lunch with my friends at Wagamamas the waitress told us that Zara was in slaes just for the weekend and that they had included a few bits and bobs from the new summer collection up to 50%. I went ove to cjck it out and there were two floors full of woman sales, how cool is that? You might be thinking that i bought loads of things by the sounds of it but noooo, i’ve managed to cantain myself and i just bought a dress. What a good gil, ha ha !
Anyways, the dress is from the basics collection and as you can see it costed 25.99£ which to be honest i still find it quite expensive for the fabric but i just loved it so so much that i only think about it now that i’ve ripped the tag away. It’s a loose dress in a very fresh fresh fabrich which is perfect for summer, as you all must know the vertical stripes are my bestties as they create an ilusion of a vertical height so i get a few inches taller (just in my mind though). Stippes are also back this Sprin/Summer 2015 and you can find loads of dresses like this one in stores like New Look, Berska, Stradivarious, Asos, River Island and so many more.
Ravalle – Navy Reptile effect pumps
There’s not much to talk about this shoes apart from how good quality they are and that i didn’t know the brand at all. They were 24.99£ at TK Maxx UK which i find pretty good for the quality.
DW Home – Scented candle
Oh my God! This candle smells so good i can´t even… I bought this candle at TK Maxx fo 5.99£ which is a bargain for a good quality candle and it smells just amazing. I’ve got this one in my bedroom, i lit it every single night just to leave the room ready for me to got o sleep. Does it happen to you that you love a scent so so much that you end up regretting to light it up because you don’t want it to finish? I might be weired but that happens to me with this candle, specially because it seems to be a limited edition that i cant get hold of anymore 🙁
That’s all for today’s blogspot and i’m sorry for skipping one day of posting, but i just think that if you are not inspired at all or you don´t have nothing to talk about, you just shouldn’t write at all. Blogging should never be forced! Anyways, see you next Thursday!
